Textile Recycling: An environmental perspective
Prof. Arun Aneja is a Global Technology Executive and Change Leader known for his expertise in commercializing new technology for profitable growth while improving business quality. His experience lies in the fields of chemicals, plastics, composites, polymers, materials, and fibers.
His talk will focus on an overview of fiber and textile recycling coupled with case studies. It includes general description of fibrous waste, statistics, material characteristics and sources. It outlines the environmental impact of recycling and the link between sustainability, recycling, energy and prosperity. Future development trends are discussed.
Dr. Aneja has been associated with some major Fortune 500 companies like Monsanto and DuPont, at different research and managerial levels for nearly 30 years. He also remained as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Reliance Industries in India.
Presently he is the Managing Director of Noeton Policy in Innovation, a dynamic consultancy company specialized in innovation and EU funded project management. Dr. Aneja is the inventor of four successful products and three industrial processes with over 30 patents and has published numerous technical and business reports.
