New function: Scan and send by e-mail

On the three copy machines on the 1st floor of the library, you can now scan documents and send it to yourself by e-mail.

This is how it works:

  • Log on to the copy machine as usual – using your chip and PIN or your S-number and password.
  • Select Scan/Fax.
  • In the middle of the screen you will see a little box that says E-mail Me.
  • At the bottom left of the display you can choose whether the document is 1- or two-sided.
  • Scan the document.

If you use the document feeder and put a pile of paper into the feeder, everything will be sent in one e-mail.

If you instead choose to place the document on the glass of the copier, you have to choose Continue before pressing the blue start button to get everything in an e-mail, otherwise it will be one mail per page you scan.

The copy machine  is connected to your HB-mail. You cannot choose to send documents to your personal e-mail such as Hotmail, you can only send to your school e-mail.
