The bachelor and master students in fashion design continue the tour where they show their degree work to the gathered international press. The next stop on the tour will be London Fashion Week 15 September.
The collections on display in 2017 celebrate re-used fibres and push the boundaries of our preconceived views on how clothes “ought” to look in relation to gender and movement.
Vouge has called the Swedish School of Textiles’ graduation show “a highlight of Spring Fashion Week” and the collections gathered attention at Fashion Week Stockholm in the end of August.
The Swedish School of Textiles’ participation at London Fashion Week has become something of a tradition, and for the students it is a chance to show their work to an international audience.
– It means so much for your entire future as a designer. It is a really fun experience and something I think that we all look forward to, says Louise Linderoth a bachelor degree student in Fashion Design.
