The University of Borås welcomes almost 400 international students every year. The mentor programme aims to facilitate the students' adaptation to their new environment here in Borås.
For enrolled students
Are you interested in meeting people from different countries, get to know a new culture and learn a new language or train a language you already know? Would you like to share your own experiences from your studies and time in Borås?
We are looking for current students who are eager to help new international students adjust to life and studies in Borås. Being a mentor is a rewarding experience and gives you the opportunity to make new friends for life. Mentors can be either current Swedish or current international students at the University of Borås.
For new incoming students
The mentor programme is a chance for you to get in touch with a student currently studying at University of Borås (local or international student) before the semester starts. The students will be a point of contact for you before your arrival and can give you a helping hand while starting your time as an international student at the University of Borås.
Due to an exceptional high number of requests for the mentor programme for autumn 2018, the spots filled up quickly and therefore the registration has been closed. We follow the first come, first served basis.
