Sex and relationships
To have thoughts about one’s sexuality or relationship with a partner is not strange or unusual. Sometimes it can be difficult to talk about these matters.
You are always welcome to the student health care centre if you have questions about sex or relationships. If we can’t help you we will refer you to someone who can.
If you are worried that you might have caught a sexually transmitted disease, you can contact a youth clinic (Ungdomsmottagningen) if you are under the age of 25, or the STD clinic at the hospital in Borås. To get tested for sexually transmitted diseases is free of charge.
At the student health care centre you can buy condoms and lubricant at cost price.
Get tested for sexually transmitted infections at Student Health Care
You are welcome to be tested during Student Health Care drop-in Thursday October 20 at 14.00-15.30. The test is primarily for those without symptoms, but as a precaution want to be tested for sexually transmitted infections.
The test is free of charge, just remember to bring a valid ID.
Please note that you may not have urinated the last two hours before the test and you may not have ongoing menstruation.
