Open Access Week 2017
To mark this year’s Open Access Week, the Library arrange a Library Breakfast as well as workshops on the subject Open Access to research data (Open Data).
If you want to come and have breakfast in the library, while listening to Pieta Eklund’s presentation about Open Access to research data – an area that is becoming increasingly relevant as research financiers begin to claim Open Data – read more and register for the breakfast here!
After the Library Breakfast, there will be two occasions to attend a workshop about research data. What is research data? How are you expected to handle your data? What do the claims for Open Data mean in your research? Who should/could be able to take part of your data? This may be questions that you ponder when you hear the term Open Data. All these questions, as well as other questions about research data, can be discussed with Pieta Eklund and other librarians during the workshop.
Register for one of the two occasions in the form below. Note: You don’t have to attend the breakfast to participate in a workshop (although – it’s obviously not a drawback if you have attended the breakfast). Maximum number of participants in the workshop is 10 persons. The workshops will be held in room J2519.
