Loans and interlibrary loans
When you are a distance student at University of Borås and living outside of Borås municipality you are eligible to get material sent home to you without other costs than freight when returning books. Please use this adress:

The cost for ordering a copy of an article in one of our print journals is 40 SEK. You will receive an invoice which should be used to pay the article.
Order books from the library collections
You order books directly in our search Primo. Login to Primo, search for the book and click on Reservation. Then choose Post Code * Home Address and finish with Reserve. If the book is on loan you place a reservation and when the book is returned, we will send the book to your home adress. Is the book available in the Library, we pick it off the shelf and send it to you.
You will receive a library card at the library. Have you ID card at hand. If you need to borrow books before your first visit to Borås, or if your course does not have any meetings in Borås you should apply for a library card. We will send the library card as a registered letter. When you apply for a library card you accept the library's rules and regulations.
You may request books which are not available in our collections. We will borrow the material from another library and forward the materials to you. This is called interlibrary loan. If you live outside Borås municipality we will send books to you.
You can also order articles which we do not have in our collections. The cost is the same as when ordering articles from our collections; 40 SEK.
