I am working as an Associate Professor within the area of Energy Conversion. The research topic is resource recovery with the focus on combustion of solid fuels such as biofuels and municipal solid waste in an energy efficient way as part of a development of a sustainably society.
I have been working at the University of Borås since March 1 2017. I have a PhD from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden where I also qualified to become an Associate Professor.
I take part in a research project involving something called "peak" phosphorous which deals with the challenge of how to co-fire municipal sewage sludge with biofuels such as wood chips and demolition wood at the same time as the phosphorous in the ashes are to be recovered for the use as a fertilizer. Teaching is focused on energy technology in boilers but also in buildings with the purpose of teaching in energy usage in buildings in an efficient way.
