I am a doctoral student in the research field The Human Perspective in Care. I am interested in questions that concern patient safety. I have participated in a research project where we analysed complaints to the patient advisory committees from a human rights perspective, on behalf of Region Västra Götaland. I will continue to analyse content and patterns in the complaints to the patient advisory committees in psychiatric care in terms of human rights and the right to health.
I started my employment at the University of Borås in 2014. I have been teaching nursing students mostly in semesters two, three, and four. I studied to become a nurse and specialised in anaesthesia here at the University of Borås. I have also worked as a nurse at the cardiac intensive care unit at Södra Älvsborg Hospital and, after my specialist training, at the central surgery unit 1 at SÄS for the last 12 years before I started working at the University of Borås.
