I work as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Borås at the Faculty of Librarianship, Information, Education in the Department of Teacher Education. Previously, I worked for many years at the School of Education and Communication at Jönköping University and was a part of the National Centre for Lifelong Learning (Encell) and the research environment Lifelong learning. In 2009, I defended my doctoral thesis Co-produced Leadership: How principals and teachers understand each other in everyday work. The dissertation studies how leadership is shaped in and by the interaction between school leaders and teachers in everyday work. The interest is in how managers and employees influence and understand each other at work.
Recently, together with researchers at Encell, I have written a report on the quality of adult education funded by the Ministry of Education and Research. On behalf of the Commission for a Socially Sustainable Malmö, I wrote, together with researcher Carin Falkner, the report Good Quality in Leisure-time centres: Basis for Student Learning, Development and Health. We also recently published the research review Leisure-time centres and Leisure-time Pedagogy--a Research Review for Sweden's Municipalities and Skåne's Association of Municipalities.
