I work as a Post Doctoral Researcher within the field of Textile Management where I focus on research related to "new" business models, resilience and sustainability.
I have worked at the University of Borås since 2009. I hold a PhD in Engineering Science from Tampere University of Technology, Finland. I have worked in both the textile and the software sectors.
At UB, I have participated in many research projects. Past projects include "Success or Survival – strategies of fashion and textile enterprises in a globalized economy" (2009-13), and the FINATEX-funded "KELANO - Sustainable Quality Fast" (2010-12). Two major recently funded projects in which I am involved are: “FromRolltoBag” funded by the European Commission – Horizon 2020 and “Re-textile” funded by Västra Götaland Region (VGR). I was also involved with a "Re-use" prestudy project funded by VGR in 2014, along with a project on a Borås-Skövde collaboration activity. Apart from that, I am also the co-coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctoral Program (EMJD) on Sustainable Management and Design for Textiles (SMDTex) funded by European Commission under Erasmus Plus (2013-21).
