I work as an Assistant Professor within the field of Textile Management, where I focus on operations management research related to an eclectic mix of topics, such as resilient organizations, reverse and circular value chains, digital and “local” production and sustainability.
I hold a PhD in Engineering Science from Tampere University of Technology, Finland and have been working at the University of Borås since 2009. Previously, I have worked in both textile and software sectors.
Some of my past projects include European Commission – Horizon 2020 funded “FromRolltoBag” (2015-2016) on consumer-driven local fashion through digitalization, “Success or Survival – strategies of fashion and textile enterprises in a globalized economy" (2009-2013), and the FINATEX-funded "KELANO - Sustainable Quality Fast" (2010-2012). Main ongoing projects include “Re-textile” funded by Västra Götaland Region (VGR) and “Competitive local textile manufacturing”.
