Public defence of the doctoral thesis
The doctoral thesis is either a uniform coherent scientific work called monograph or a summary of scientific articles called a compilation thesis. In total, the doctoral degree comprises of 240 credits.
The university's various research programmes have very different characteristics and differ in research, valuation standards, and publishing traditions. Despite this, there are common guidelines for the public defence of the doctoral thesis.
