Research and Development Milieu for Caring Didactics

At the School of Health Sciences, University of Borås, an R&D milieu that conducts research in competence and learning in care is under development.

The milieu has a lifeworld didactic profile within which research and development is conducted in terms of strategies and models to support the learning of students, caregivers, patients and relatives to improve for the patient in a caring context. The overall aim is to integrate theory with best practice and implement new knowledge, as part of the School’s research programme Integrated Care Improvement – Targeted Care from the Patient’s Perspective.

Cooperation with the surrounding society is established, for example via the Dedicated Educational Units that are run in cooperation with the respective care units, as well as cooperation with national as well as international schools.
