Förteckningen är listad efter sidornas engelska rubriker och vid varje rubrik finns en kortfattad information, även den på engelska. I de fall det rör sig om sidor med svensk, norsk eller dansk tillhörighet är dock dessa versioner sökbara genom rubrikerna satta inom parantes.

An American independent centre for arts and cultural issues. Considers the role of creativity and innovation in our national and international life through research, analysis, publication and dialogue.

Centre for Cultural Policy Research
Launched in October 2001 at the University of Glasgow. The centre is a research capability in cultural policy in Scotland. By developing analytical, theoretical and empirical research it aims to provide a resource to the government and its agencies, and to the wider cultural sector.

Danish Ministry of Culture (Danska kulturministeriet)
The ministry's domain stretches from sport to libraries, museums, education and training in the arts - theatre and music, all the creative arts, and the entire electronic media landscape.

DEP (Département des études et de la prospective: Ministeri français de la culture)
The principal research department of the French Ministry of Culture and is attached to the General Administration Division.

ERICarts (European Research Institute for Comparative Cultural Policy and the Arts)
A non-profit association which was founded in 1993. The mission is to set up an independent and multinational research institute focused on cultural policy and media developments, cultural education and the status of various arts and media professions and fields.

Mediacult
Institution situated in Vienna. The centre of the Institute’s work in research and mediation is the mutual influence of cultural production, technological development and cultural policy.

Ministry of Culture (Kulturdepartementet)
Responsible for such matters as the arts, cultural heritage, the media and religious communities. The ministry is also responsible for 25 government agencies, some 40 institutions and foundations, etc.

NORDICOM (Nordic Information Center for Media and Communication Research)
Goal and purpose is to make the media and communication research efforts undertaken in the Nordic countries - Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden - known. Konferences, publications, databases and research.

Norwegian Council for Cultural Affairs (Norsk kulturråd)
An advisory body concerned with national cultural issues. Administered and financed by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. Performs three principal tasks: managing the Norwegian Cultural Fund, advising central government and the public sector on cultural questions initiating experimental cultural activities in areas where it sees a need for special efforts.

Policies for Culture
A regional, partnership programme jointly initiated and managed by the ECF (NL) and the Ecumest Association (Romania) and in partnership with organisations in the region of SEE and the EU. Structured around the relationship between civil society, the executive and the legislature in the policy-making process. The accent lies on empowering cultural operators to find the channels to voice opinions in this process, and encouraging participative policy-making.

Program for Cultural Research (Program for kulturstudier)
Organised and financed by the Research Council of Norway. In the course of the five-year period from 1998 to 2002, the Programme aims to promote interdisciplinary humanities and social sciences research into cultural understanding, cultural refraction and cultural policy in modern Norway.

RECAP (Resources for Cultural Policy in Europe)
A project which aims to improve the quality and flow of documentation in a variety of forms on the theme of cultural policy in Europe.

Scottish Centre for Cultural Management & Policy
Scotland's national training centre for arts administration and cultural management, at Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh. Education and research.

Swedish National Council for Cultural Affairs (Statens kulturråd)
The Swedish National Council for Cultural Affairs is responsible for implementing national cultural policy determined by the government and parliament.

Swedish Parliament (Sveriges riksdag)
The main responsibility of the Riksdag is to take decisions on matters that concern society as a whole: enacts new laws, determines state expenditure and revenue, scrutinises the work of the Government and influences important foreign policy issues.
