BLR support

Library & Learning Resources (LLR) at the University of Borås aims at making the students successful in their studies. At BLR you will find not only a high-class scientific library but also study and career counselling, student health services and pedagogues at student support services. InnovationLab is assisting BLR with technical development. 

Qlikview support

InnovationLab helps the University of Borås with QlikView. With QlikView, it is possible to compile data from various IT systems to more relevant information, adapted and presented in a format that is understandable to all employees.

Using charts, graphs and interactive graphics, a recent overview of the activities of the University are presented. Information can be filtered, twisted and broken down to detail levels so that different perspectives can be illuminated. It is also possible to see how information has developed over time.

Kursinfo

Kursinfo is a collaboration project between the nine universities on a common education database.

The collaboration includes:

Linna University
Jönköping University

The work with KursInfo is guided by a steering committee comprising one representative from each university. To her their help is a management team consisting of representatives from the universities that prepares and coordinates the development work. The development of the system occurs mainly by a development team at the University of Skövde but also with InnovationLab.

TransIT 2.0

TransIt 2.0 is a project that makes a new development of the existing transit system. The project aims to develop an IT support that streamlines and simplifies the application process for exchange studies and for field studies and internships abroad for students studying at the University of Borås and for foreign students wishing to study at University College of Borås.

TFU-service distribution and follow-up

TFU is a web-based service distribution to all institutions at the University of Borås. Staff Allocation involves the allocation of staff working hours and distribution of courses.

Finished Project

Prolog commissioned in MOSS

University College of Borås, Department of Computer Science and business has been mandated to develop a customized training in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) for logistics company Prolog.

Training package includes first six basic pillars of MOSS, demands on the IT environment in the introduction of MOSS, Content. Furthermore, the course continues with the Business Support / workflow, search capabilities, Use with Microsoft Office 2007 products and Personaliering. Finally, the course addresses topics as integration with other servers and customization.

Information Channel Portal

This project aims to enable staff who are not editors of the university's portal to reach out to targeted information and messages. Then e-service must be below the University of Borås existing Web Portal IBM WebSphere Portal Server will e-service is being developed as a portlet in Java. Total time for the project is 87 hours and the client are: Sten Dellby, Communications Information Department.
