Information Searching Education

Library & Learning Resources offers courses in information searching as an integrated part of the education for all students enrolled at one of the university's programs.

The teaching is planned according to The Borås Model, together with the program and course managers at the institutions, and aims to support students in developing their information literacy.

The importance of being able to search and evaluate scientific information is emphasized in the University Act, chapter 1. § 8 (SFS 1992:1434). Information literacy is also included as an element in the strategies of education decided by the University of Borås.

In addition to the integrated education, LLR also offers other lectures, workshops and training in information searching both for the institutions at the University as for external actors. For more information and costs, please contact the teaching librarians at LLR.
