TransIT 2.0

TransIt 2.0 is a project that makes a new development of the existing transit system. The project aims to develop an IT support that streamlines and simplifies the application process for exchange studies and for field studies and internships abroad for students studying at the University of Borås and for foreign students wishing to study at University College of Borås.

TransIt is an IT support to deal with exchange students and their actions on the Department for Education and Research support (UF).

TransIt 2.0 is a project that makes a new development of the existing transit system. The project aims to develop an IT support that streamlines and simplifies the application process for exchange studies and for field studies and internships abroad for students studying at the University of Borås and for foreign students wishing to study at University College of Borås.

The system will also ease the burden on managers at UF and the international coordinators at each institution at the University of Borås. It is among other measures, to minimize the physical document, and to streamline and automate as many manual functions as possible, involving requests for exchange studies, field studies and internships. The system will also include managing records of foreign partner universities, as well as templates for standard contracts and other documents.
