Naturalhy

Today, natural gas transported through pipelines in Europe. Naturalhy is a research project where the aim of the project is to study the possibility of also carrying hydrogen in these lines. Hydrogen is different than natural gas in many areas and requires a check of any gas pipeline in order to evaluate whether they are capable of transporting hydrogen.
The role of InnovationLab in the project is to assist in the development of a decision system, Decision Support Tool (DST). The system provides, among other factors based on cost, safety and procedures when it will take a decision, if the pipeline is capable of transporting hydrogen.
