New e-mail system for students

Our old mail service Netmail will be shut down 2011-01-01. If you wish to save your old mail, please do so before announced date.It is possible to move mail from Netmail to Google.  An instruction is located here:

Google Mail is part of Google Apps, below you can find some of the benefits with Google Apps and frequently asked question regarding the change from Netmail to Google Mail.

Student mail

You log in with your usual user information via mail.student.hb.se or myaccount.hb.se.

Calendar

Students can organize their schedules and share events and calendars with others.

Doc & Spreadsheets

Collaborating with peers, sharing and working together on documents (all online) is another great feature available to students!

Sites

Easily create, publish and share web pages/sites. 

Talk

Students can call or send instant messages to their contacts.

Go Mobile

With any web enabled phone students can send and receive email, schedule and retrieve events and reminders from their calendar so they can stay connected!

An advanced search tools to quickly locate the emails you need, no matter how many you keep around!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still use Netmail?

Yes, you are still able to log on to Netmail until the end of the year, but you will not be able to send or receive e-mail after August 2nd.

Can I transfer my e-mail from Netmail to Google Mail?

What happens if someone sends an email to my old address?

Any e-mail sent to the old e-mail address will be automatically forwarded to your Google Mail.
