SOCIAL MEDIA and INFORMATION PRACTICES
A two-day workshop 10-11 November 2011. Organized by Swedish School of Library and Information Science, University of Borås, Sweden
The workshop includes general sessions and three parallel tracks. The aim is to bring together researchers with similar interests from different institutes and organizations to discuss research ideas and develop proposals for collaborative projects. You are invited to one of the tracks, but the aim is also to stimulate communication between the tracks.
Parallel tracks:
- Social media: The next five years, led by professor Jan Nolin
- Information Literacy Practices, led by professor Olof Sundin
- Information activities in work environments, led by associate professor Katriina Byström.
The workshop is part of the research profile at University of Borås. This invitation is directed to selected international researchers and there are no fees for participation. The university will pay for accommodations and catering during the workshop.
Practicalities and location
The workshop is organised in the Sandgärdet building of the University of Borås. This is the white more recent building, where the library is also found.
