An exploration of in-between places in fashion, costume design and visual art forms.
Through various practical projects and practices I wish to challenge and expand what is perceived as fashion or why it is not viewed as such.
My work is focused around definitions and the inadequacies of these in describing the cross genres at play in the fashion world today.
Applied at a practical level I am working with projects and concepts that purposely blur the line between:
accessories / garments
costumes / scenography
garments / sculpture
fashion show / performance
This exploration includes a diverse range of contexts and will be documented through the use of various media.
