ÖSF121 Swedish as a Foreign Language – Continuation Course, 7,5 ECTS
The course addresses foreign students with previous knowledge of the Swedish language introduced in the course “Swedish as a Foreign Language – Beginners Course, 7,5 ECTS”. The focus is the student´s own progression. This course is based on oral and written tasks. The purpose is to extend the students' knowledge and skills in the Swedish language. The oral and written exercises are compulsory and will be continuously presented by the student. Tuition is mainly conducted through lectures, individual exercises and seminars. The tuition language is mainly Swedish, although English may be used.

Admission Requirements
The course will be given only to foreign students enrolled in any other course/programme during the semester at the University of Borås.
The Student must have finished and passed the course “Swedish as a Foreign Language – Beginners Course, 7,5 ECTS” when the continuation course starts. Students who are registered for the beginners course (ÖSF111) during application period may apply for the continuation course.
How to apply
- The application process will be open between 26 February and 14 March at www.universityadmissions.se.
No consideration will be given to applications from previous semesters.
- Students who already have been registered at the same course (ÖSF121)earlier semesters, may not apply again. These students may ask the course administrator for re-registration if there are any openings.
Selection: First, number of credits from the University of Borås, second random selection (also random selection among those with the same grades).
The course will start 30 March, (25 seats, compulsory attendance), scheduled with lectures the following days:
- 30 March – 29 May: Tuesdays 4.30-7.30 and Fridays 1-4 pm
