Faculty examiner

The faculty examiner of choice is contacted soon after the final review has been done (i.e. 3-6 months before defence of the thesis). The Principal supervisor also makes sure that the faculty examiner receives the thesis no less than 3 weeks before the defence of the doctoral thesis. 

English speaking faculty examiner

The following information shall be send to the Faculty examiner from the Research Education Committee (by e-mail):

• A copy of the defence approval from the REC
• Instructions for defense of doctoral thesis
• Supervisors' certificate by principal supervisor
• The university ordinance for doctoral studies*
• fee form for faculty examiner
• Bank transfer form (if foreign faculty examiner)
• Form for Swedish income tax (if foreign faculty examiner)
• Contact information to a research secretary or administration officer who can help with practical matters such as travel arrangements.
