University of Borås - a good choice
Hao Shijie, started as an exchange student in 2008 to follow the MSc study program in Industrial Engineering – Logistics Management at the University of Borås and in 2009 she continues with one more MSc program in Industrial Engineering – Quality and Environmental Management.
"I am really interested in management and want to fulfill my dream to become and international manager in logistics. I want to get more theoretical knowledge and special skills in this field".

Ali aims to take the lead in changing the climate
In Iran Ali Hashemi Gheinani was not satisfied with simply studying theory and noticed that the industrial biotechnology was his cup of tea. After reading reports on the internet and seeing that many were written by people at the University of Borås he chose to study in Sweden and Borås.
"I think that I might be someone who can take the lead and change the climate and culture so that people and politicians in Iran will be more interested in renewable fuels so that we may be able to produce electricity by recovering energy from waste instead of using oil".
Indonesian students return home after two years
After two years of MSc studies the two guest students from Indonesia, Khamdan Cahyari och Ryan Anugrah Putra, return home - many experiences richer and with ideas of how to use their achieved knowledge and skills within energy and material recovery.
"The courses for the MSc study programme in Resource Recovery – Sustainable Engineering have been really interesting. You have a special way of looking at waste here, you look at it as useful raw material that can be transformed into different new products. If the waste was seen in the same way in Indonesia, it would solve many of the problems there".
