Our vision

The University of Borås overall mission is the basis for the vision of the School of Engineering, to be "Sweden's most to the profession connected engineering school." Our strategy is to:

  • Create engineering educations, with a clear mark of profesionalism, which gives conditions of a high degree of knowledge and ability on the job market and an early productivity of the newly graduated students.
  • Run engineering educations with a high level of quality with an increasing degree of partnership with the local job market.
  • Run research and research educations based on regional strong factors in a close interaction with the industry in an international context. Cooperation with the research institutes Swedish Technical Research Institute SP and Swerea/IFP Research has a high priority.
  • Develop advanced educations in a close interaction with the research, that is carried out here and is directed towards an international scene.
