An Interactive Wall Decoration
Sustainable approaches are used as tools in this project to motivate the design of a wall decoration in a new and experimental way. Interaction and artistic expression are used to create a deeper attachment between user and product by increasing the emotional value and sense of pride. The aesthetic comes from my interpretation of the forest, emphasising depth through use of shadow and layers to recreate a feeling of escapism and tranquillity in the home. Contrast between regular lace patterns and flowing irregular marks and forms are used to appeal to different senses of the human spirit. The aim of this project is to explore the sustainable design process and develop an idea that has long-term benefits on our environment and society.

Designed to be shared
This project promotes the concept of sharing. Although, many of us already share our clothes, borrowing clothes from friends, and families. Yet, clothes have mostly remained rigidly fixed; few have been designed especially to be shared. The aim is to challenge conventional fashion design, and develop a long term design solutions for sustainability. By allowing wearers to share clothes and wear them in different ways, this means: MORE POSSIBILITIES! hus, prolonging the life-span of clothes. I am inspired by the combination of geometric and organic shapes in anatomy. The result of this project is a collection of unique, unisize, unisex, and interchangeable garments.
