The approximate starting dates and ending dates of the semesters for the academic year 2011-2012 are: 

2011-08-29 to 2012-01-15 and 2012-01-16 to 2012-06-03

The approximate starting dates and ending dates of the semesters for the academic year 2012-2013 are: 

2012-09-03 to 2013-01-20 and 2013-01-21 to 2013-06-09
 

The academic year is divided into study periods as follows:

Autumn semester
Period 1: end August - end October
Period 2: beginning November - middle January

Spring semester
Period 3: middle January - end March
Period 4: beginning April - beginning June
