The Centre for Commissioned Education (Sw: CSU)

The Centre for Commissioned Education (CSU) hosts a wide range of activities on campus. Its purpose is to coordinate commissions internal the school’s scope of knowledge with those external its activity field. Commissioned educations hosted by CSU can be conducted by individual teachers, subject groups, and/or its management. All commissions must be approved by the Head of Department.

Its council represents all schools in the Southern Älvsborg region as well as representatives from Biskopsgården, Gothenburg, Varberg Municipality, and two independent schools.

Through CSU, meeting places are established for professionals and researchers as a cooperation forum where the municipals of the Västra Götaland region and the University of Borås can meet in order to stimulate competence and educational development. Also, CSU contributes to further development and dissemination of new knowledge relevant for schools and preschools.
