If you have a problem concerning your username or password, questions about software, cd burners, scanners etc you are welcome to contact our Computer Support.

Crew and opening hours

Computer Support is situated on the entrance floor in the library, at information point number 3. Students from our different schools man the support service.

Monday - Thursday: 11 - 13, 15 - 17
Friday: 12 - 16

The IT department is situated in the main building (Allégatan 1) on floor 7. Please contact them when the Computer Support at Library & Learning Resources is closed or if you have advanced questions concerning computers.

Workshops

Do you want to learn more about how to use your computer in the best way? Do you want to attend a workshop/course in Word or PowerPoint or do you want to know how the computers at the University work? Then fill in a form with your wishes and we will try to do our best to fulfill them. You will find the form in the left-hand menu under "Computer Education".

Software

MSDN Academic Alliance is an agreement between the University of Borås and Microsoft. According to the agreement it is possible for students at the university to use a selection of software titles from Microsoft for free. Read more on the web page MSDN Academic Alliance (only in swedish).
