The Certificate

A Degree Certificate is issued on request by the University/University College where you last passed an examination or where you completed your programme of studies.

The academic and/or professional degree is stated in the certificate together with the names of all courses, the grades received and the dates when courses were completed. The title of your project work will also be shown. The Degree Certificate issued by the University of Borås is bilingual (Swedish/English).

Application for a Degree Certificate must be made on a special application form. The application form can be downloaded or ordered from our office.

Your certificate will be sent by registered letter to your postal address. A supplement to the certificate will also be enclosed, describing the degree issued and its status in the Swedish education system

An important note is that a certificate will only be issued once. It is possible though to receive a copy from the central archive at he University. Call 033-435 40 00 and asked to be connected to Central Office, where they will assist.

It takes at least 4 (four) weeks to issue the Degree Certificate from the date of receiving a correct and complete application.
