MoPeD

MoPeD is the Student Union at the Department of Education. All students at the department are enrolled in MoPeD automatically. By being a member of MoPeD you have more influence as a student both in the union and in the Department Board. The subject fields at the department are as follows: Swedish, Mathematics, English, Pre-school, KKME, GSME (Basic Swedish, Mathematics, English), GNAT (Basic Nature & Technology).

As a department we have five representatives in Student Union Council, the highest decision-making organ in the Student Union.

Influence in the Department

MoPeD has three representatives in the Department Board which guarantees that the students are heard and have an influence on our education.  

MoPeD has also a representative in each division of the Educational Council and participates in the different temporary work groups within the university and initiates shorter or longer projects.

The Board consists of five persons that hold informal meetings every fortnight. Two times per term a general meeting is organized where important decisions about MoPeD’s activities are taken.

DePoM

Our comfort committee (trivselkommitté) is called DePoM and it is responsible for arranging all entertainment events at the department. As a student you become a member of DePoM automatically without having to register. DePoM is casually organized and everybody who wants to participate is welcome.
