Research seminars

Research seminars are held every Monday during semesters. Mostly, the doctoral students present their respective research plans and theses at various stages of their education. They are e. g., ”Research plan”, ”Half-time seminar” or ”Final seminar”. At research plans and half-time seminars, a researcher with a doctoral degree, together with and a group of students, act as opponents. At final seminars, an “external” opponent is invited to comment on the thesis, which then is in its final stage. Apart from the doctoral seminars, guest seminars are also held regularly, where international researchers or researchers from other universities in Sweden present their research. All seminars are open to the public.

Research seminars are held on Mondays at 1430 in D517, if nothing else is announced at the Calendar of the University of Borås, UB.

The texts are available to the staff at UB. Other participants are asked to contact Åsa Söderlind for a copy of the current text and for more information about the research seminars.
