  • Google Language Tools
    Translates words, texts and web pages. Type a search phrase in your own language to easily find pages in another language.
  • Lexin
    Lexin is primarily produced to meet the need of immigrant education and currently consists of about 30,000 words.
    The Language Council of Sweden is responsible for the Lexin project.

  • AllTheWeb
    Search web pages, news, music, pictures, videos, ftp files etcetera.
  • Bing
    Search for web pages, news, pictures, shopping and more. Bing is a search engine from Microsoft.
  • Eniro
    Search web pages, Yellow pages, Private Persons, Maps, Buy and sell.
  • Google
    Search web pages, pdf files, word files, pictures etcetera. Google also has a web directory.
  • Google Scholar
    Search for scholarly literature. Google Scholar helps you identify the most relevant research across the world of scholarly research.
  • Scirus
    Search engine for scientific information. Scirus enables you to search within different subject areas. Scirus includes scientific e-journals from Elsevier Science.

  • About.com
    The About network consists of over 700 guide sites neatly organized into 36 channels. The sites cover more than 50,000 subjects with over 1 million links to resources on the Internet.
  • Academic Info
    Academic Info is an independent Internet subject directory maintained by a qualified group of subject specialists. Academic Info aims to be an educational gateway to online college and research level Internet resources.
  • BUBL LINK
    BUBL LINK is  a catalogue of selected Internet resources covering all academic subject areas. All items are selected, evaluated, catalogued and described.
  • Cinahl Sources
    Cinahl Sources provides information on selected World Wide Web sites of interest to nursing and allied health professionals, researchers and students and others.
  • Open Directory Project
    The Open Directory Project is the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors.
  • PSIgate
    PSIgate aims to provide high quality Internet resources for students, researchers and practitioners in the physical sciences, specifically in: astronomy, chemistry, earth sciences, physics, and science history and policy.
  • Resource Discovery Network
    The RDN is a free Internet service dedicated to providing effective access to high quality Internet resources for the learning, teaching and research community. The service is primarily aimed at Internet users in further and higher education.
  • Social Sciences Information Gateway
    The Social Science Information Gateway (SOSIG) is an Internet service which aims to provide a trusted source of selected, high quality Internet information for students, academics, researchers and practitioners in the social sciences, business and law.
  • The WWW Virtual Library
    The WWW Virtual Library is the oldest catalogue on the Web, started by Tim Berners-Lee, the creator of html and the Web itself. Unlike commercial catalogues, it is run by a loose confederation of volunteers, who compile pages of key links for particular areas in which they are experts. The VL pages are widely recognised as being amongst the highest-quality guides to particular sections of the Web.
