Computer Services Office' s main task is supporting all schools and units at the University of Borås in IT matters

We provide services in:

Networks

Connection and communication for various forms of IT equipment

Base environment

Services and software that make up the basis of day-to-day work, i.e. cataloguing, file storage, software and operating system distribution, printer management, e-mail and safety backups.

Support

We provide assistance in computer and computer supply purchasing, installations and maintenance of IT equipment, account management, user support and a service desk.

IT safety

Having an Incident Response Team (IRT) that is in charge of surveillance, logging and investigations of intrusions etc.

Assignments

Offering schools and units to handle and assume responsibility for various types of systems, in whole or partially, and perform application development.
