The trademark
The trademark is so much more than a logotype and a fancy sign facing the street. The trademark is the sum of all those thoughts, feelings, values and associations that come to mind when we hear the name ‘The University College of Borås’. Our educations and our reasearch are important parts of the trademark, as are the personnel and the way we market ourselves in. A trademark takes many years to build but can be demolished in an instant. That is why it is important that everything that is done in the organisation is well thought out and agrees with the core values and the strategy we have decided to follow. Our trademark reflects our soul and deserves consideration and respect.
The University College has core values which function as guiding stars and permeate with all the operations and our communication. They answer questions like ‘what is our responsibility?’ and ‘how do we want to be looked upon?’. With the help from the core values it becomes easier to act unanimously and make decisions both at the present time and in the future.
