The Governing Board at the University of Borås

The governing board at a university is in charge of the university's affairs and is responsible for the university accomplishing its tasks. The chairperson is designated by the government. The rector is a board member. The board appoints its own deputy chairman. In the rector's absence the pro-rector is the substitute board member.
