The college is run by a board. The president of the authority is the principal who is responsible for the daily management of the college.
The assignment of a governmental authority is controlled by so called ‘regeringsbrev’ or governmental documents that the government has decided about. In the documents there is also stated how much money the college has at its desposal. In order to evaluate the funds the college gets from the government the college has to send an annual report to the government each year with information about costs, income and results.
Other important documents for the college consist of the basis of the budget, which is the proposal of the college to the government about how much money is needed to manage the organisation, and the work order document. In the work order document the organisation of the college is established among other things and how and by whom decisions should be made.
