The Swedish School of Library and Information Science runs or participates in various research projects. We cooperate with other universities and research institutes in Sweden and in EU projects, as well as in projects among the researchers at the department. A great deal of the research at the department is conducted by the doctoral students, either within large projects or in individual thesis projects. In accordance with the University’s image, researchers also co-operate with development projects in libraries and other information intense organisations. Some of the current projects are Shaman (an EU project), EXAKT and FilIP.
