Internship
Internship abroad is a good way to get professional experience that could be useful in your future career as well as a way to gain international experience. You will have the chance to try out your theoretical knowledge and make contacts for the future. There are some different scholarships for internships to apply for. Some of them are administered by the university and some of them by external organizations.
Europe: Erasmus placement grant
The University of Borås takes part in the Erasmus programme for placements/internships. The Erasmus programme gives the students the chance to do a internship during 3-6 month in another European country. The scholarship is about 500 Euro/month. All students registered at the University of Borås are eligible to participate in the programme. More information about the Erasmus placement grant
Vulcanus in Japan
Vulcanus in Japan is an internship programme for European students who carry out four months of language studies continued by 8 months of internship in Japan. The programme is financed by the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation and the Japanese host company. The European students are awarded a grant to cover the cost of travel to and from Japan and living expenses in Japan.
