Centre for Culture Policy Research

The Centre for Cultural Policy Research was established in 1995, to deepen the knowledge through research about the role of cultural policy in society. The primary focus of the research is the study and analysis of official authorities and other involved persons and institutions relations to the cultural life. Apart from these external relations, focus is also aimed at processes taking place between producers, intermediaries and receivers within the frame of the cultural system. Further, the social, cultural, and economic conditions of the cultural policy is emphasized. Of great interest is also the interplay between the cultural policy, other sectors in society, and knowledge areas.
