Carbon nanotubes Use of carbon nanotubes in electronic circuitry requires that one knows the electrical properties of the nanotubes. Since mixtures of carbon nanotubes that have a range of diameters and properties are grown in all known production methods, it is necessary to separate out the nanotubes with the desired property from all other nanotubes. Ultimate control of these separation techniques will allow us to separate out nanotubes based on their chiral (n,m) numbers.
Care after a cardiac arrest
Computational modeling of platinum recovery In these studies we model the AC carbon by attaching oxy-functional groups on graphitic structures (oxygen containing functional groups are known to exist on the AC). The interaction between the amine groups and the functionalise AC is then studied, to ascertain which functional groups are most likely to be important for the adsorption of the amine groups.
Consequences of dispatching rescue services and police in cases of suspected cardiac arrest
Correlation between the prescription of medication and cardiac arrest out-of-hospital
Creation of an online registry throughout the chain of care
Evaluation of pre-hospital care in Västra Götaland in cases of acute myocardial infarction
HMV The project aims at investigating and developing knowledge concerning ventilator-dependent people's (adults, young people and children) and their families life situation. Professional caregivers' perspective is also considered.
LINDRA – To relieve pain and anxiety - an intervention study in the ambulance services
Studies of the use of a defibrillator in cases of ventricular fibrillation before the ambulance arrives
Sustainable Distance Shopping The research project Sustainable Distance Shopping aims to show how companies in the fashion industry, within the integrated e-commerce segment, can business process orientate the entire corporation from a demand perspective.
Technology dependent children and their families' life conditions The development of modern technological medical and nursing care have made it possible for children with disability and cronic illness and diseases to survive. However, many of these children become dependent on technology, for example home mechanical treatment.
