ISSI
Description
Örnsköldsvik municipality runs the ISSI project, Citizen Centric Public Service in Sparsely Populated Areas. The project is targeted towards user-driven service development in a close collaboration between citizens, public authorities, municipalities, SME:s and R&D. It’s aiming at a raised level of service for citizens and SME:s in the sparsely populated inland through development of e-services focusing on the needs of the citizens, enterprises and public authorities, and higher quality of life for the citizens and a strengthened regional attractivity.
E-services are services that be carried out by computer, cell-phone or other electronically media, and contains some form of interactivity. Interactivity means that the service require the citizen, enterprise or organization to contribute with information. To apply for building permit online is one example of e-service.
