In a unique cooperation between university, trade unions and representatives from the local community a project group has mapped the research on trade and service innovation. The conclusions drawn from this project is that there is a need for a research institute for Trade and Services innovation to serve as a link between ongoing and future research and the community that puts the customer in focus. The project also suggests that the best location of such an institution would be in Borås.
