Textile applications of Biomedical Engineering

Description

Biomedical engineering focuses on signal processing and analysis of medical/physiological signals with specialization in development of technology for measurement and surveillance. Projects within this area focus on solving clinically relevant problems within neurophysiology/neurology and intensive care of new born babies. Another area where this resaerch comes to use is within home care covering surveillance of patients with heart problems. In research projects focusing on smart textiles we co-operate with the Swedish School of Textiles here at the University.
