The Swedish Bank Research Foundation awards scholarships to PhD students and post-doctoral researchers, carrying out research on financial institutions and markets. 

Call for scholarship applications 2018: Scholarships for PhD students to cover living cost and related research expenses for up to one year at a time. Scholarships for post-doc researchers that conduct well-qualified academic research within the research field. Post-doc grants are awarded as stipends to cover living costs and related research expenses.   

To cover costs of special research expenses that are essential to a particular project, supplementary grants may be available under certain circumstances. Applications for these grants are made on a separate form. Travel grants may also be considered.  The size of the grants for academic year 2018/2019 will be determined by the foundation's board of directors at its spring meeting. In academic year 2017/2018, grants to projects conducted for an entire year were (in SEK):   

Applications for grants must be submitted by e-mail to not later than Friday April 6, 2018.

A letter of recommendation should be sent directly by the advisor to before the deadline.
