New information about distance education from the government

At the same time as the government announced that the requirements for distance education are being eased, they emphasize that everything will not be as usual in the autumn; the regulations and general advice from the Public Health Agency of Sweden still have to be obeyed. The universities have a great responsibility for adapting the education, and distance education must be offered if it is not possible to ensure safe conditions when it comes to education on campus.

What today's new information means for the University of Borås has not yet been clarified in detail, but discussions are ongoing and more information will be provided shortly.

– It is positive to receive this information before the vacations as it creates conditions for a calmer process, says Mats Tinnsten, Vice-Chancellor at the University of Borås.
