Yellow level extended

Yellow level means that university operations are to continue but that physical contact should be minimised as much as possible. The university had previously taken the decision to maintain yellow level until the end of the spring term, but this has now been extended.

"The reason is to aid the university when it comes to making plans for the summer and autumn; thus we are choosing to extend yellow level until 8 November. If the conditions that this decision is based upon change, for example, if the government updates its recommendations, we will of course take new decisions before 8 November," says Mats Tinnsten.

"We understand that this means a greater workload for our staff, but I still believe that it is necessary to take this decision in order to plan for continued needs in relation to the novel coronavirus.”
