The Orientation Days for new students take place before the start of the semester and should be attended by all new international students, as this is the best chance for you to receive information about studying in Borås and meet your fellow students.
The Orientation Days will take place 17-18 January 2019 and are mandatory for all new international students, unless you are admitted to a distance programme. This is a good chance for you to receive information about living and studying in Sweden and Borås, and meet your fellow students for the first time. You will also receive a welcome package including, among other things, a SIM card for your mobile phone.
During the first weeks of the semester, you will also have the chance to engage in social activities during the Introduction arranged by the Student Union in Borås (external link). The activities introduce you to the University and the city of Borås and are a great opportunity for making new friends. The social activities are open for international as well as Swedish students. The activities could be, for example, city tours, welcome dinner, and much more. In order to participate in these activities, you must wear an introduction bracelet, which you will receive from the Student Union on the starting date of the semester.
For current dates, please see Important Dates.
