Having the opportunity to talk to someone can often be the beginning of a change. This can be true whether you are having problems with your studies, have issues with your economy, are affected by crisis, feeling of grief, or if you are worried, depressed or stressed.
REGARDING THE CORONAVIRUS
Since the university has now moved to level yellow because of the coronavirus, the social counsellors we will not be able to have any meetings at the Student Health Care Center. Level yellow means that physical contact should be minimised as far as possible. For the social counsellors at the Student Health Care Center this means that all booked appointments will be held over phone instead.
You can reach us by phone Monday to Friday 10 am to 12 am. You can also contact us by email.
If you already have an appointment, we have sent you an email with more information.
These recommendations will last until June 7.
Stress, self esteem, mood swings, blues/depression, loneliness, worries, speech anxiety, sexual health/identity and alcohol/drugs are examples of issues that students often are concerned about.
A visit to the social counsellor is free of charge and we work under proffesional secrecy. If you want to schedule an appointment please use our web form below. You can also call to schedule an appointment or for advice.
