Want to learn more about sustainability in the textile value chain and how the different parts of this chain affect each other? Then this may be the education for you. Here, you gain fundamental knowledge in the textile value chain and specialise in management of different parts of the supply chain.

This education gives you the tools to manage marketing and consumer behaviour in textile and fashion processes. You gain fundamental knowledge about how to manage textile value chains with a special focus on sustainability. The courses during the first year represent the textile value chain from idea to design, via production and distribution, to market and handling of backflows.
During the second year, you proceed with textile management but this time specialise in management of the supply chain. Central topics this year are management of production and logistics, prognostics, and risk management.
The courses have a strong basis in current research in textile management with a focus on sustainability in the textile value chain, as well as research in adjoining subjects such as business administration and industrial economics at the University of Borås.
Several courses are about controlling one specific part of the value chain or how the different parts in the chain are linked and affect each other.
The University of Borås is just the right place to study textile. Here you find well-equipped labs, innovation, and research in technology as well as design, often conducted in collaboration with the industry.
